Homeward Bound

Dec 2nd through Dec 30th 2010
Please join us for the opening of this exhibition on
Thursday, Dec 2nd from 6pm to 8pm.

Pacini Lubel Gallery is proud to exhibit the sculpture of Seattle based ceramic artist Joey Chiarello from December 2nd through December 30th. In this exhibition, Joey Chiarello’s third solo show, he continues his exploration of animal based sculpture as a metaphor for the human condition. Spirited dogs abound in this exhibition – for example, a Poodle regales with coiffed splendor, a Chinese Crested dog is decorated in a classic blue and white pottery motif, and a Maltese stands proudly with decoration abounding. The beauty and whimsy of the sculpture serve as a canvas for both personal and social considerations through eastern inspired imagery – interpersonal relationships, social considerations as well as internal musings abound on Joey Chiarello’s sculpture.

Please join us for our opening, December 2nd from 6 pm to 8 pm.
